Main duties of the job

The Senior Nurse supports the Clinical Team Leader in coordinating and delivering high-quality care in line with national and local District Nursing priorities. You will also oversee staffing rotas, allocate clinical work, and maintain clear, compassionate communication with colleagues, patients, and families.

The post includes participation in the District Nursing Hub, providing weekend, evening, and bank holiday cover on a rotational basis. You must be able to work contracted hours flexibly across both day and night shifts to meet service needs.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong professional leadership and a genuine commitment to excellent patient care.
