How do I apply for a job on BoQQs?
Click the apply button on any listing and you are taken straight to the employer's own application page. BoQQs does not collect CVs or host applications, so you complete the whole process on the employer's site. There is no BoQQs account, login, or profile needed to apply.
Does BoQQs charge job seekers anything?
No. Everything on BoQQs is free for candidates: searching, filtering, saving jobs, the salary guides, and all the calculators. There is no premium tier, no paywall, and no charge to apply. We never ask candidates for payment, and no legitimate employer will either.
How can I spot a fake job listing?
Treat any request for money as disqualifying — no genuine UK employer charges to apply, train, or start. Other warning signs are interviews held only over chat apps, an offer made without a real interview, a salary far above the market rate, and email addresses that do not use the company's own domain.

Where do BoQQs's job listings come from?
Listings come from employers directly and from public job feeds, covering UK construction and healthcare. Each one records its source and an employer reference. We check that the employer is real and the role is open before publishing, and every listing expires automatically after 30 days.
How often are jobs on BoQQs updated?
The listing feed updates continuously, and the refresh button on any results page pulls the latest set without reloading the page. Roles posted in the last 24 hours are marked New, and roles the employer is filling at pace are marked Urgent. Every listing expires 30 days after posting.
Which sectors and locations does BoQQs cover?
BoQQs covers UK construction and healthcare. Construction spans quantity surveying, estimating, site and project management. Healthcare spans nursing, advanced practice, radiography, medical consultant, and theatre roles. Listings run across London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, and Reading, plus remote and hybrid roles.

How does BoQQs calculate its salary figures?
Salary guides are averaged from the advertised pay on live BoQQs listings, not from surveys or self-reported earnings. Day rates and hourly rates are annualised at 260 working days or 1,950 hours so they can be compared. Every salary page states the number of listings its figure rests on.
Are BoQQs's pay calculators accurate?
The calculators apply current HMRC income tax and National Insurance thresholds, NHS Agenda for Change pay scales, and NHS pension contribution tiers for the 2026/27 tax year. They model basic contracted pay only. Overtime, unsocial hours, bank shifts, and student loan repayments are not included.

Do I need an account to use BoQQs?
No. BoQQs has no accounts, logins, or candidate profiles. You can search every listing, use every calculator, and save jobs without giving us an email address. Saved listings are stored in your own browser rather than on our servers, so nothing is tied to an identity.
What personal data does BoQQs collect?
Very little. We hold no accounts and no CVs. We process the search terms you type, standard server logs, and any email you send us. Saved listings live in your browser's local storage and are never transmitted to us. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
How do saved jobs work on BoQQs?
Clicking save on a listing stores its reference in your browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to BoQQs, so no account is needed and no email is captured. Saved jobs stay on that device and in that browser, and clearing your browsing data removes them.
