Disclaimer
What BoQQs is responsible for, what it is not, and what you need to check yourself before applying for anything.
Last updated 31 Jul 2026
BoQQs publishes job adverts placed by employers and collected from public feeds. We are an index and a signpost. We are not a recruiter, not an agency, and not a party to anything that happens after you click apply.
Listings are adverts, not recommendations
Publishing a role is not an endorsement of the employer, the role, the pay, or the working conditions. We do not vet advertisers beyond basic checks that they appear to exist, and we do not verify the claims made in a listing.
Roles close, get filled, and get withdrawn without anyone telling us. A listing being visible is not a promise that it is still open.
Salary figures are advertised pay
Our salary guides average the pay advertised on live BoQQs listings. They are not surveys of what people currently earn, and advertised pay usually runs ahead of the market. Each guide states the number of listings behind it so you can judge how much weight it carries.
Calculators are estimates
Our calculators apply published HMRC thresholds, NHS Agenda for Change scales, and pension contribution tiers. They model basic contracted pay only and exclude overtime, unsocial hours, bank work, student loan repayments, and salary sacrifice. Scotland sets different income tax rates, and Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland run separate pay scales.
Nothing here is tax, financial, legal, or career advice. Your payslip, your ESR record, and a qualified adviser are the authorities. Do not make a financial decision on the strength of a figure from this site alone.
Fraud is your risk to manage
Job fraud exists on every board, including this one. No genuine UK employer will ask you to pay to apply, to train, or to start. Verify an employer independently before sharing personal documents, and report anything that looks wrong so we can remove it.
Where our responsibility ends
Once you click apply you are on a third-party site governed by its own terms and privacy policy. What happens there, and everything that follows in a recruitment process or a job, is between you and that organisation.
