RGH-Global are excited to present a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning, NHS approved independent psychology and neurodevelopmental practice in a senior leadership capacity. This is a rare fully remote Clinical Team Lead position within the organisation's growing digital service, offering the chance to combine hands-on clinical assessment work with meaningful team leadership and service development.
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced clinician to join their digital team as a second Clinical Team Lead, working alongside the existing Team Lead and Team Manager to support the wider remote clinical team in delivering comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments. The service specialises in high-quality, evidence-based assessments for autism and ADHD, delivered through NHS-funded referrals and private pathways.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who wants to step into a leadership role without leaving clinical practice behind. You will play a central part in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy remote clinic, shaping clinical processes, supporting and developing your team, and ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic quality across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the remote digital clinic
- Liaising with the Bookings team to communicate and coordinate specific client requirements in preparation for assessments
- Problem-solving logistical issues associated with running a busy remote clinic, including managing clinician absence
- Supporting clients and families through the appeals process and managing complaints alongside the Team Manager
- Offering clinical support during onboarding of new clinical staff and supporting the team with ongoing skills development
- Working with the Team Manager to identify and resolve gaps in clinical processes
- Monitoring resource needs and contributing to the development of new resources to support and enhance the clinic
- Escalating issues and working with the Team Manager to resolution
- Offering clinical support in MDTs for complex cases
- Identifying training needs within the team
- Providing line management to a small group of clinicians, Assistant Psychologists, and Clinical Support Workers
- Conducting Quality Assurance checks on clinical diagnostic reports to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to professional standards
- Delivering high-quality diagnostic assessments alongside team leadership responsibilities
- Working collaboratively with HR and the Team Manager to plan, coordinate, and participate in the interview process for clinical roles
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years professional registration with one of the following regulatory bodies: HCPC (Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Occupational Therapist), NMC (Mental Health Nurse, Learning Disability Nurse, General Nurse, or Children's Nurse), GMC (Medical Practitioner), or Social Work England (Social Worker)
- Minimum of 2 years experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people
- Experience in delivering clinical supervision
- Experience supporting service delivery and workflow management
- Strong understanding of differential diagnosis in neurodevelopmental presentations
- In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism and ADHD
- Trained and experienced in the use of diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R
- Effective time management and organisation skills to support the wider team alongside managing personal caseload demands
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams across the business
- Well-developed communication skills to liaise effectively with different stakeholders
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
